It's snowing and the birds are having a feeding frenzy! If you look above the feeder you can see a Carolina Chickadee in flight. The Cardinal has snow on his head. At one point I had four female Cardinals on the tree. There were Yellow Finches, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Cardinals, and several other type birds. They are emptying my feeders in less than 24 hours.

Try doing a crop with just the chickadee, the cardinal, and the feeder to see if the chickadee shows up better.
ReplyDeleteI just love feeding the birds and am amazed when they all seem to be in such a hurry to eat all at the same time (as if someone rang a dinner bell). I have been blessed this season with Crossbills visiting our neighborhood. So fun!
