I love lighthouses. There is just something about them that has always fascinated me. This water color is of Cape Lookout. It is on an island off the NC coast and the only access is by boat. As a child, I spent many weekends at Cape Lookout. We would go and stay days at a time. It was so much fun and I have such wonderful memories.

ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of Lighthouses too. I live on Cape Cod so you can imagine, we have a lot to check out local. My favorite one (closest to my heart as Cape Lookout is for you) is Gurnet Point in Plymouth. I was married there and our family cottage is located here. Such great memories and continues to be for my family today. :)
